CLOSING SALE FINAL WEEK - 50% OFF!
It's the final week of our closing sale, so pretty much everything on the website is now 50% off (excluding repair parts and kits). The prices shown in product listings are the normal retail prices, the 50% off discount is shown AFTER items are added to your cart. Just an FYI - we had a huge bump in sales last Saturday when the 35% off week started, and we anticipate a similar bump today. If you had your heart set on anything, you might want to place your order sooner rather than later. We'll send out a few more newsletters this week with updates.
This really is the last chance to get our stuff - we are shutting down all product sales at the end of the day on March 8th. We have to do this so that we have time to finish making up SkeinTwister and Swift repair parts and kit orders, and go through the other enormous task of listing and selling supplies on our site, selling bigger stuff locally, and moving out of our workshop space by the end of April.
Spotlight on the FUnicorn
This was one of the first things I made for sale as Alpenglow Industries and remains my favorite. It's both beautiful and foul, and is just Very Carrie. Stuff That's Going Fast!
Here are things we anticipate selling out of this weekend, because stock is under 30 units.
Glowies - while we have a lot of stars and raindrops, many others we have less than 5 of. And even within those two groups, we have less than 5 of several colors.
Card Gauges - we only have a few of the “Large Stitches” size left, these are best for DK & worsted yarns, sweater knitters, etc.
Krampuses - we still have some twist-together ornament kits, but we also made up the rest of the boards we had in stock, so there are assembled glowing circuit board versions of this too.
Sheepy Coasters - only a few left!
Blinky Plushies - Blinky is our adorable LED mascot, they're a squishy addressable LED which asks the question: have you hugged an LED today? About 6x6 inches and so satisfying to squish!
Box Kits - we've got a few sheep-themed ones left, and some Blinky LED ones. These are a nice 6x6 inch size, all you need is wood glue to put them together, no clamping is needed if you follow our instructions.

We've been shipping, organizing, shipping, organizing! A reminder: please open and check your order ASAP to make sure there are no issues. We don't have a lot of time to correct mistakes, and the sooner we know about any, the better!
SkeinTwister Parts:
We have paused shipping on these as we await one small part we had to order more of - shaft couplers. While there's not a lot of call to replace these, we did say they were part of the repair kits and while it's not a custom part, it's also not super easy to get. The couplers will arrive in about 2 weeks, so look for shipping to start up again in mid-March, after our web sale is over with.
Swift Repair Kits:
Almost every single one of these is unique because there are so many color choices, so they take time to put together. We've spent a few days zhuzhing our spreadsheet of Swift data, have figured out how many new struts we need to cut for each of 39 different colors, and are starting on that on Monday. Some kits will start to ship on Tuesday. There's some additional information on these two instagram lives about configurations and hole size, and rainbow swifts.
Rainbow or Multiple Colors of Outer Struts:
We overlooked this case when we put the listing up for the Swift Repair Kit. The majority of swifts have a single color of outer struts and 2 outer struts are included in each repair kit.
- Swifts with 2 or 3 colors of outer struts: You'll receive one strut of each color per repair kit. That means if you have 3 colors, you'll get 3 outer struts, 1 of each color.

Swifts with 6 or 12 colors of outer struts: this includes Classic and Pastel Rainbows, and several Custom color combos. We will be emailing you next week with the following info:
- If you ordered 1 repair kit: you'll get 3 struts and we'll pick the colors.
- If you ordered 2 repair kits: you'll get 6 struts, one of each color.
- If you ordered 3 repair kits: you'll get 9 struts, one of each color plus 3 extras that we'll choose.
If you want more than the above outer struts, you can also email us with the details about what you want and we'll send you an invoice for an additional amount that will cover the extra struts plus any additional shipping if it doesn't all fit in our custom-made repair kit boxes (struts are long and skinny and need a special box!). The easiest thing for us is if you reply to your order confirmation email, but you can also send us an inquiry via our contact form.
